After Hours Care
Straven Medical is open from 8:15am-5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:15am-4:30pm Fridays (except public holidays). When we are closed you can attend after hours services for any urgent medical attention.

Through Practice Plus you can book an appointment time for a phone or video consultation with a New Zealand registered GP. No waiting in the walk-in clinics. They are available weekdays 9am-10pm and weekends/public holidays 8am-8pm, visit practiceplus.nz to book.

A walk-in urgent care clinic open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No appointment necessary. Please be aware that wait times can be long.
- Riccarton Clinic- 4 Yaldhurst Road, Riccarton
An ACC accredited Urgent Care Clinic open every day of the year from 8:00am until 8:00pm. For any accident, injury or illness that requires urgent medical care, you can walk in. No appointment is necessary.
- Moorhouse Medical Accident & Medical Clinic- 3 Pilgrim Place, Sydenham
An accident and medical clinic open Monday- Saturday from 9am-5pm. For any accident, injury or illness that requires urgent medical care, you can walk in. No appointment is necessary.
