COVID Information

The Traffic Lights - Canterbury is currently at ORANGE

We are open but will be operating slightly differently.

  • On arrival please wait in your car. The doctor/nurse will call you when they are ready to see you. If you arrive by taxi/foot please ring reception when you get here and you will be instructed what to do.
  • We ask all patients to wear a surgical mask. If you don't have one, we have one available at the entrance to the practice.
  • We encourage phone consultations but in-person consults remain available.
  • We are using our external consult room for people with coughs, colds, earaches, runny noses, muscle aches, fevers and headaches.
  • We require everyone aged over 12 years to wear a mask when entering the practice. If you have a mask exemption, please discuss this when making your appointment.
  • Our door is unlocked.
  • On arrival, please use the hand sanitiser.
  • All phone prescriptions will be sent to your requested pharmacy. No pick ups.
  • Our staff will look different as we will be be wearing protective face coverings.

This is to keep you, our staff and all our patients safe.

Triaging of patients

All patients will be triaged to determine the best way and place to manage your health needs. This may be either a phone or face to face consult.  Risks will be determined by your symptoms, your vaccination status, contact with covid positive people and our current traffic light system.
