COVID Information

The Traffic Lights - Canterbury is currently at ORANGE

We are open but will be operating slightly differently.

Unvaccinated Patients

As a medical practice, we encourage all our patients to be vaccinated.

However for those who are not vaccinated, we will continue to treat you but it may be in a different way. Now that there are active covid cases in Canterbury, we have been advised to offer unvaccinated patients a phone consultation. If examination is needed, this would be in our external consult room. This is to keep you, our staff and all our patients safe.

Care in the community

Aotearoa New Zealand has moved into the traffic light system, which needs a new approach to how we manage COVID-19 in our communities.

The Traffic light system

  • We are offering both phone and in-person consultations.
  • If you have any cough, cold or flu-like symptoms please call us for advice on 03 348 5749.
  • We are using our external consult room for people with coughs and colds.
  • We require everyone aged over 12 years to wear a mask when entering the practice. If you have a mask exemption, please discuss this when making your appointment.
  • Our door is now unlocked.
  • On arrival, please scan the QR code and use the hand sanitiser.
  • We are trying to reduce the number of people sitting in the waiting area, so we may ask you to sit in your car while waiting for your appointment.

Take care of yourselves and your whanau.

We are now offering COVID vaccinations to our enrolled patients aged 12 years and over. Please call 03 348 5749 to book an appointment. Or, if you wish to book your vaccine elsewhere, you can book or register for a vaccine online.
