Dr. Jennifer Abernethy
Jen worked in Christchurch, Wellington and Melbourne prior to joining the team at Straven Medical.
She graduated in Medicine from the University of Melbourne in 2015 and previously studied Dentistry at University of Otago. Before moving into General Practice speciality training, she worked at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Melbourne Dental Hospital, and Christchurch Hospital.
Alongside clinical practice, she works as a clinical editor for National HealthPathways. Outside of work, Jen enjoys gardening, walking her golden retriever, collecting aspirational sewing projects, and spending time with her family.
